CHS Lacrosse Refund Policies


Thank you for registering for a CHS Lacrosse Program. We understand that there are moving parts in every family and schedules may change or athletes decide that lacrosse is not the sport for them. We will always try to do what is best for you and your family in regards to refunds. However, we appreciate your understanding of our refund policy.

 

**Please see the information below before requesting a refund. Each program we run may have a different policy.**

 

Club Teams and Tryouts

There are no refunds for club team tryouts. Once a player secures their spot on one of our club teams no refund will be provided with the exception of a doctor's note stating a player will miss some or all of the remaining program. In that instance, CHS Lacrosse directors will provide a partial refund in the form of a credit toward future programming based on the remaining event practice and game schedule. Players who accept a spot in the program and choose not to continue without a doctor's note will not be given a refund and must pay their dues in full. We do have optional registration insurance available during registration to protect our families against unforeseeable events.

 

Programs that are limited on the number of participants admitted:

Any program that is limited in the number of participants, mainly our academy or training-specific programs, will have a very restricted refund policy. We limit the number of participants in the session, if you register for the program and later cancel; you are taking the opportunity from another athlete to participate. We also build our budgets off of full participation and registration so a player dropping from one of these programs can create issues.

 

  • If you cancel two weeks before the first day; you are entitled to a 75% refund which will be added directly to your account within the CHS Lacrosse system and can be used for a future program.

  • If you cancel within two weeks before the first day; you are entitled to a 50% refund which will be added directly to your account within the CHS Lacrosse system and can be used for a future program.

  • If you cancel on the first day of the program or after; you are not entitled to a refund.

 

Programs that are not limited to the number of participants admitted:

 

  • If you cancel two weeks before the first day; you are entitled to a 75% refund which can be added directly to your account within the CHS Lacrosse system and can be used for a future program or a check can be mailed to your home.

  • If you cancel within two weeks before the first day; you are entitled to a 50% refund which will be added directly to your account within the CHS Lacrosse system and can be used for a future program. Check being mailed home is no longer an option.

  • If you cancel on the first day of the program or after; you are not entitled to a refund.

 

PROGRAM AND EVENT INCLEMENT WEATHER/CANCELLATION POLICY

CHS Lacrosse cannot guarantee weather conditions and reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs and/or events if severe weather conditions are imminent, or if we have reason to believe that conditions are dangerous to participants and employees. 

 

We cannot guarantee refunds for weather-related cancellations. We do our best to reschedule events and/or offer refunds where we can. Our ability to do so is all determined by the refund policies of our third-party vendors (facilities, officials, EMT’s, etc.). If and when we can secure refunds from our vendors we pass these back to you.
