Boy's Lacrosse Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Steve Jameson

Coach Steve Jameson is in his 2nd year as Head Coach of the Centennial Boys' Lacrosse program. Coach Jameson has coached football at every level from high school up to the College Football Bowl Series level for the past 13 years. He played college football and lacrosse at Worcester Polytechnic Institute all four years, where he was an All-Patriot League (not the same as the current Patriot League) Goalie as a Junior, and team Captain as a Senior. Coach Jameson also played and coached the goalies for the University of Tennessee club team in 1997. Coach Jameson teaches Biology at Centennial, and has a wife, Rachel, and daughter, Kylie (6).

Assistant Coach: Andrew Vodopia

Andy Vodopia is beginning his first year with the CHS lacrosse program. He grew up playing lacrosse on Long Island where he attended Smithtown HS. He graduated from Binghamton University in 1981 and went to Georgetown University for graduate work. Andy has extensive coaching experience in both soccer and basketball including coaching the Centennial girls JV soccer program last year. He is married with 3 children and has been employed by the IBM Corporation for the past 27+ years.

Assistant Coach: Colin Johnson

Coach Johnson started his lacrosse career playing attackman at West Forsyth High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After high school, he joined the lacrosse team at Georgia Tech and played for four years there as a middie. As a player at Georgia Tech he also got his first coaching experience working at multiple Georgia Tech lacrosse camps and clinics. After graduation from Georgia Tech, Coach Johnson moved to Dunwoody and took a job in Alpharetta. While working in Alpharetta, he coached for Alpharetta Youth Lacrosse for a year before taking his current job here at Centennial High School. At Centennial he intends to help Coach Jameson manage the attack and middies.
